Scanning
Watch the passage build.
Start a scan from the Drop Station menu and a live wireframe builds over the camera as you move. Walls, floor, ceiling and formations, out to about 5 m. There is no time limit; long scans split into segments on their own.
Three levels of detail.
Low colors the mesh fast and small. Medium and High wrap it in a photo texture for a model that looks like the cave. The texture travels with the scan through save, share and export.
Measure and slice
Measure in 3D.
Distance, height, angle and area on the scan's surface. Survey tools give book-style shots between two points, clearance up and across, a passage cross-section with its area, the depth of a pit, and LRUD from the middle of the passage.
Slice it, size it.
Cut the scan on any axis and see only the part between the cuts, with the volume worked out between them. Crop a box on more than one axis to isolate a single room.

Anchored to the survey.
Every scan hangs off a station on your Cave Line, with its position and heading. Draw the scans along the line in the line viewer and see the real passage shape around the centerline.
Every Pro from iPhone 12 Pro.
If your iPhone has LiDAR, SpeleoMap uses it. Everyone else on the crew can open, measure and print the scans you share.
Export and 3D print
Export OBJ, PLY or USDZ for Blender, CloudCompare, MeshLab or AR Quick Look. Or tap the printer: a closed, printable model sized for your bed, in up to 16 filament colors, split into tiles that fit together, out as 3MF, STL or OBJ.
