Cut, Color and Export
Cut, split, color and export the print.
Cut and Edit: Only the print changes; the scan is never touched.
Cut slices the scan with the viewer's Slice handles; Build uses the cut, and a one-axis cut can export both halves. After a build, Edit tidies the model: the brush rubs out what you paint (S 10 cm, M 25 cm, L 50 cm), the finger removes a loose piece, Undo and Restore all. The model is rebuilt after each change. Only the print changes, never the scan. Edit before you split into parts. The eraser clears every cut.
Print in parts: For models bigger than your printer's bed.
Split a big print into tiles: by count (up to 8 across and 8 deep) or by your bed's width, depth and height. Every tile comes from one build, so the joins meet exactly with the same scale and colors. Press names into the joins to label them. The preview spreads the tiles apart; the README has the assembly map.
Color: Match the print to your printer and filaments.
Off prints one color. Scan picks the 1 to 16 colors that best sum up the scan, and the walls and base print in the cave color that covers the most; Bands makes height bands, floor dark to ceiling light; Full keeps every color for full-color printers and print services. 3MF carries the filament colors, OBJ full color, STL none. The README lists each filament slot, darkest first, with its share of the print.
Export: Files are named so exports never overwrite each other.
Pick .3mf, .stl or .obj. You get one .zip: the model (a file per tile), README.txt (size, parts, a rough PLA and time estimate, tips, filaments and the build profile) and print_profile.json (the exact settings, kept for rebuilding - your slicer doesn't need it). The file is named after the scan plus a short code for its settings and an export number, so exports never overwrite each other (for example BearCaveA200FM3).
