Survey
Your cave lines for Survex, Therion or a spreadsheet.
On a device: One .speleosurvey file.
Sends each Cave Line with its stations (splays, LRUD), and the tape lines. Tape lines is a switch, so you can leave them out. Pick the lines under CAVE LINES.
On a desktop: One .zip of survey files.
Switch on the files you want under FILES: Survex (.svx), Therion (.th), Stations CSV (.csv) and Tape survey (.svx). Pick lines under CAVE LINES and stations under STATIONS.
Survex and Therion: Open your survey in Survex, Therion or Loch.
- Survex .svx: legs, splays and passage size. A reading never taken is written as -, never zero.
- Therion .th: the same, with declination on calibrated lines and a thconfig file. Run therion thconfig for a Loch model and a .3d.
Each Cave Line is its own survey; add equates where two lines share a station.
Stations CSV: A station table for a spreadsheet.
A flat table for Excel or Numbers. CSV COLUMNS picks what goes in: Position, Leg shot, Cumulative, Notes, Passage and Timestamps. Tap a column to switch it on or off.
Tape survey: Tape lines on their own.
Every tape line as straight shots in one .svx. Tape lines aren't tied to Cave Lines, so there's nothing to pick.
Station media: Photos, videos and scans too.
Include station photos, videos & scans adds what's on the stations you pick to the .zip, so the survey and its pictures travel together.
