Survey Files
Surveys from Survex, Therion and GPS apps.
Survex and Therion: Pick up a survey drawn in other software.
Pick a Survex .svx, a compiled .3d or a Therion .th. Each survey becomes a Cave Line, with real legs, branches and loops, splays, LRUD (blanks stay blank) and declination. Imported lines are marked so you can tell them from lines you walked.
Loops and multi-file surveys: What to expect from looped or split surveys.
Loops are found and their misclosure reported, not adjusted. For the adjusted network, compile in Survex or Therion and import the .3d. iOS only gives SpeleoMap the file you pick, so an include pointing at another file is skipped and named: import each file on its own. Importing the same survey twice won't duplicate it.
GPX tracks: A hike from another app.
A .gpx from Gaia, CalTopo, Garmin or any GPS app comes in as a Hike Line you can view but not record on. Its waypoints become pins. If its letter is taken, it gets the next free one.
