Scans and Layers
Passage shape, layers and view options.
Scans: See real passage shape along the line.
Plan and 3D. Draws the scans pinned to the lines in view as points, in each scan's own colors, placed on the line. Tap the cube: the Scans bar has Pick (which scans; all to start), the count, BUILD (lights up when the pick has changed) and the eraser. Tap the cube again to hide the points without rebuilding. Big scans are thinned so it stays smooth. A scan that hasn't finished processing can't be drawn yet. The points show on the page and full screen, and are cleared when you leave the line's page.
Layers: Declutter each view; your choices are remembered.
Turn survey parts on and off for each view; it remembers.
- Stations (on in Plan and Profile, off in 3D) and Station labels.
- Leg lengths and Splays (off to start). Splay lengths appears once splays are on.
- Tape lines (on).
Splays and tape lines aren't in Profile. A layer with nothing to show is grayed out.
View: All on to start, per view.
- Grid: Profile and 3D.
- Compass: Plan and 3D.
- XYZ gizmo: 3D.
