Projects
One cave or one trip. Everything you collect lives inside it.
Make a project: Everything you record needs a project to live in.
Tap New Project on the home screen, type a name (the cave is a good choice), add a description and team if you like, then tap Begin Project.
SpeleoMap names a new project with the date and time; rename it any time from the name field at the top of the Details tab.
Your lists: Jump back to any past recording or note.
With no workout running, the Action tab lists everything you've recorded: Cave Lines, Tape Lines, Hike Lines, SRT, Running and Crawling. Tap Manage to rename, share or delete. The Details tab lists every note (typed notes, rangefinder readings and saved measurements, filtered and sorted: see Save Measurements and Notes; Add Note for trip-wide notes) and every annotation, to re-tag or delete.
Each row shows its numbers (distance, depth or climb, pins, date); a red dot means it is still recording. Start a workout and the tab switches to that activity: the cave survey, the hike map or the training screen.
What goes inside: One cave or one trip per project works best.
Workouts, Cave Lines, Hike Lines, scans, stations, photos, video and notes all live in the project. Back in the same cave another day? Open the same project and start a new workout; the new lines sit alongside the old ones.
The Details tab: Your project overview, with shortcuts into every list.
Name, description and team at the top, then tappable counts of everything in the project: workouts, hike lines, cave lines, tape lines, pins, scans, media and notes. The meta card shows when you started, the entrance GPS and the calibration state. Export and Import sit at the bottom.
Tap a count to jump to it: workouts and lines open the Manage lists, scans and media switch to those tabs, and pins and notes open their own lists.
Delete a project: Clear out old or test projects for good.
Swipe left on it on the home screen and tap Delete (the same swipe has Rename). This removes everything and can't be undone, so export a bundle first if you want a backup.
