Stow

The Stow screen: mounts, your body, learning and drift.

Mount: How the phone sits on you.
Lists your mounts, with the one in use marked ACTIVE. Tap a mount to see its styles. Setting up and switching mounts: 9.12.2 Mounts. Why it matters: 4.1 How It Works.
Height: Fewer false dips on a chest mount.
Height is the phone's height when you stand (Auto uses 72% of your height); it keeps crawls from drawing as dips. Shows for a chest mount only. Your height is set in 9.1.1 You.
Learning: Styles keep improving without extra runs.
Keeps refining your styles when a stowed stretch ends at a known station. See 4.2 Calibrate a Style.
Correction: When to trust the compass while stowed.
Corrects the stowed heading against the compass. Off by default; leave it off where rock or gear throws the compass. Hand-held lines are never corrected. See 4.3 Accuracy.
Steel: For vertical trips with gear near the phone.
Carabiners, a rack, ascenders or batteries near the phone pull the compass. With Steel on, Correction waits for more compass readings and corrects at half speed, so a pulled compass can't steer the line. It only does anything while Correction is on, so it stays greyed out until then. Turn it on for rope work with the phone on your chest.
Tolerance: Know right away when a stowed line goes wrong.
The drift alert watches for a runaway line while stowed: it buzzes and leaves that stretch out of your survey distance. Recording never stops. Turn it on or off with Drift in 9.6 Alerts; Tolerance here sets how much drift before it alerts. See Accuracy.
How Stow mode works: The explainer at the bottom.
Opens a short explainer of Stow Mode. The full chapter: 4 Stow Mode.
