Devices
Laser meters, thermal camera and sensors.
Laser meter won't shoot: Quick checks first, then send diagnostics for unlisted meters.
Why. It's off, asleep, not paired, or in the wrong mode.
Fix. Check it's on and paired in Settings, Devices settings. "Set the meter to single distance or angle": switch its mode. A timeout: press Shot again or wake the meter. Meter not listed? Connect it anyway and email support with diagnostics attached so it can be added.
FLIR camera not found: Fixes for FLIR ONE Edge and FLIR ONE Edge Pro connections.
Why. The camera is off, asleep, or not joined.
Fix. Bluetooth must be on, and tap Join when iOS asks to join the camera's Wi-Fi. While connected your iPhone has no Wi-Fi internet (cellular still works); disconnect the FLIR to use home Wi-Fi. Still nothing: turn Thermal Camera off and on, or tap Forget this camera and pair again.

Heat lands in the wrong place: ThermDAR temperatures off the spot, or Not aligned.
Why. The FLIR isn't aligned yet, or the clip moved since it was.
Fix. Settings, Calibration, Overlay: good light, a scene with clear edges 2 m or more away, hold still, Align, check the overlay, Save. Put the clip in the same spot every time.

Environment sensor dimmed: Usually just distance or body heat; nothing to pair.
Why. No reading for 30 seconds. SpeleoMap only listens to the sensor's broadcast; there's nothing to pair.
Fix. Check it's switched on and bring it closer. Wear it outside your pack, away from body heat.
