Team Merge

Everyone's survey in one project.

Send a bundle: Hand your whole survey to a partner.
Export the project as a .speleobundle and AirDrop it to a teammate's iPhone. It carries Cave Lines, stations, scans, tape lines, notes, photos, videos and Hike Lines. To send only part of it, pick the Cave Lines, scans, photos or Hike Lines you want in the export sheet. See 8.2.2 Project Bundle.

LiDAR photos and videos keep their depth, so they can be measured on the receiving iPhone, with or without LiDAR.

Receive it: Where their data lands on your phone.
AirDrop opens it straight in SpeleoMap from anywhere. Or tap Import at the bottom of the project's Details tab and pick the file. Then tap Import to merge it into that project. To open it as a new project instead, use Import in Settings, Data (9.5 Data). An AirDropped bundle merges into your most recent project.
Merge: What changes when their data comes in.
Everything comes in with an import_ prefix so you can tell it from yours. Imported Cave Lines arrive uncalibrated, because the sender's calibration belongs to their project. The survey measurements are kept.
Line it up: Join two teams' surveys into one map.
Open the anchor menu on the imported line and choose Tie In to Survey. It moves and rotates the imported survey onto your calibrated line (Calibration). To keep surveying from their end, start a New Cave Line at one of their stations (Cave Line).
Quick shares: When a whole bundle is overkill.
No bundle needed for one thing: a scan, a Cave Line, a photo or video, a station or a note. Press and hold it and tap Share. See 8.5 Quick Shares.
